This year for "spring break" aka: i have a career and am no longer a student so i took some days off, I am heading down south to the lovely state of North Carolina. Below is an outfit idea I had while deciding what I would like to pack. I am looking for pieces that can be casual during the day as well as ones that can be dressed up for a nice dinner out or date night.
hope you enjoy!
The focus of this outfit is these adorable shorts from Belk. I visit belk everytime im down south, we don't have one in Ohio- of course, just for their crown & ivy brand. This brand has very preppy but affordable pieces and many of which can be duped to lilly pulitzer. This would be my casual day outfit. Perfect for lunch plans or shopping around town, and you can never go wrong with throwing on a pair of chucks.
Okay, now to dress these shorts up was simple. I just paired it with some chunky heels from target & can i say how excited as a plus size woman i am that chunky heels are back in style... so much easier to walk in! Toss on a black tank (torrid) and some drop earrings (shopmissa) & a wrap watch (which is from victorias secret of all places) and you are ready to take on the boardwalk for date night or have a night out at the bars comfortably.
Stay tuned for more outfit ideas I come up with from spring break/ the spring season
xoxo
